I am a Level III Gottman therapist.  

 

I work with couples and invidividuals find better methods to live their best lives.

I have thousands of hours providing counseling services and support. My years of experience have allowed me to help others focus on what is important in life.

 

I have worked in various counseling agencies and in private practice. I have seen success in my counseling practice with individuals, families and couples. Helping people in the process of counseling and the opportunity to help people change their lives is very rewarding to me. 

 

I think of myself as not just as a counselor, but a coach and mentor that will help keep you accountable.

I strive to help people locate the change they are seeking. I believe counseling is an effective wayto learn new behaviors, new thought processes, and new ways to be successful in personal and professional settings.

FIND TOOLS TO HELP YOU GROW AND IMPROVE-
My approach involves assessing the situation and using strategies to help a person understand themselves and how to address or change the problem. I focus on helping people find success.

The approach I use is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy. It is important to A) focus on finding solutions to the concerns that are creating difficulties and B) help people find and change the thought processes guiding the problematic behavior. If the thought processes are altered then the new behavior is not far behind.

EXPLORATION FOR UNDERSTANDING-
Therapy can be about exploration.  I help people better understand themselves and their better.  It is very helpful to connect the dots and examine how life experiences have shaped us.  Sometimes it is not always easy to see the different influences that have shaped our behavior and outlook.  This is what therapy can assist us to do.

STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS-
Therapy can also be about training.  Strategies and techniques can be applied to help people alter anxiety, depression, a lack of motivation, emotional problems, and even relationships problems.  You can learn these effective strategies to reset your life.
