ACE METHOD

01.

This phase of the ACE method is an opportunity for you to share your concerns and hlep us piece together how anxiety is impacting your life.  

Sometimes physical symptoms such as a rapid heartbeat, nausea or headaches can be due to anxiety but so can dizziness and light headedness.  We can assess your physical concenrs to get an idea how our strategies can be used to help you retrain your body. 

Sometimes past experiences extending as far back as childhood can create circumstances that create anxiety.  Childhood factors that could create later anxiety include strict parenting, 

childhood, a parent using substances, divorce, and childhood trauma.

It is helpful to explore specific factors in from your curent life experience that may be creating a challenge for you.  Our appraoch to evaluating your current life circumstances cna helkp us uncover factors where anxiety may be brewing.

During this phase of the ACE method, we will explore a plan of attack to reduce and diminish the symptoms of anxiety.  

We offer practical strategies that are specifically geared for your unique situation.  It is importnat to have a plan that is as unique as you are and we create a plan that uses your strengths to create and construct a plan that is especially suited for your unique situation.

Our plan for you is to reduce the intensity of anxiety based on the plan.

03.

Anxiety is not going to suddenly disappear.  It may take some time.  We help you reduce the intensity (strength), frequency, and duration (length of time anxiety is present).  Just like a mark fades over time, we can work together to reduce the symptoms and impact of anxiety..
